Social Distancing Activities: Fishing
Fishing? Yes! This summer I caught my first 2 pound small mouth bass, and I was hooked!
I never understand fishing, but after spending hours on the dock. I noticed how peaceful, engaging, and the bond with myself that was created after each experience. With everything going on right now, I found a comfort in being forced to focus. It allowed me to take my mind off any internal conflict and stress, kind of similar to the effects of meditation.
Also, it is a great activity to do with friends or family. It kind of forces you to disconnect and truly be present.
