Cheat sheet to happiness
The first step is to identify what is exactly is stopping you from living your best life. Have you ever asked yourself what fuels your mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual needs?
We suggest starting to take the time to write it out. Break it down into four (listed above ^) and identify what fuels these tanks.
Step two is practicing the fundamentals of what makes you FEEL an emotion. You will learn to identify these with time, and it is okay if these things change. We are growing every day, and that is what makes you YOU. I also think it is crucial to identify your triggers within each category. As we grow, we must be aware of our past to move forward correctly.
Here is a little template with a few questions/tips :)
Mental
Identify what is causing you any mental restraints, whether that is lack of sleep, food, or even a shitty friend taking up too much energy.
Now, identify your triggers relating to mental. Do your findings above have any relation?
Emotional
Ever notice you are highly emotional or jaded towards certain things? Break it down into examples of what triggers certain emotions i.e. What makes you cry? For me, I cry when watching whale videos… I have some childhood trauma of being lied to that free willy lived in Lake Ontario 🤷🏻♀️
Physical
How do you physically withhold happiness?
Spiritual
Identify your spirituality.
